Steps to Enrollment

Submit your online application to the Admission Office.

You will receive notification of your admission status from your admission counselor once the Admission Office receives your application. There are several required documents you must provide in addition to your completed application form:

  1. Essay: Submit the required 1-2 page, typed, double-spaced essay.
  2. Official high school transcript and/or GED test scores; official college transcript.
  3. Pastoral Reference Form
  4. Personal Reference Form
  5. Application fee of $25.00
  6. For homeschool students: A letter signed by the prospective student’s parents indicating that all home schooling standards required by the state in which the home schooling occurred have been met.

Once your admission file is complete, it will be reviewed for acceptance. You can expect to know your admission status within two weeks of your admission file's completion. Your admission counselor will contact you regarding your acceptance.


Complete the online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at and include Bethel College’s school code on the application: 041538. The Bethel’s priority deadline for submitting the FAFSA is August 1 (for fall semester). Upon receipt of your FAFSA information, you will receive an e-mail from the Financial Aid Office to confirm receipt. You will then be directed to a web address. This website will be directing you to the next step in the financial aid process where you will be promoted to create a user name and password to complete the process.

Review housing information

You will be sent housing information (if you plan to live on campus) once we receive your completed application and subsequent forms.

Register for classes

Class schedule information will be sent to all students who have been accepted for admission.

Receive orientation information

You will receive information about new student orientation and the academic calendar after you have been accepted.

Pay for classes

Payment may be made in cash, by check, credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover), approved financial aid grants, approved scholarships, or a combination of these. Grants and scholarships may help you receive the discount if the grants or scholarships are available to be applied to the account at the time of registration.
